Site Flipping – Is There Too Much Competition?
One reason why I was hesitant to try site flipping was I thought there was too much competition out there in the website selling market and there would be no way that I could compete with all that competition. After all, when I looked at websites being sold, some of them weren’t even selling, so could it really be worth it?
If you go into Ebay.com and I use Ebay as my example here as I sell most of my websites on ebay, if you search the term ‘website’ you will probably get back over 6,000 results. In fact, let’s go do it…….
Site Flipping – Some Of My Niches Currently For Sale
Yesterday I did a post on how to choose the niche to build your sites around and so today I just wanted to show you some of the sites that I currently have up for sale so you can get an idea of the niche’s that I use. This is only a small example of niches though as I do vary my niches quite a bit and try not to have the same niche listed at the same time or even close together. For instance, I have a golf website up for sale at the moment and this is the first time in a couple of months that I have done a site on golf.
I have one listing closing tonight which is on Kids Clothing, I have used this niche a few times and it seems to do quite well. You need to remember though that it isn’t just the niche that makes a site sell well, it is the quality of your site. Remember that there is a lot of competition out there and so you need to offer good quality sites if you want the customers to choose your sites over everyone elses.
Kids clothing or any other type of clothing store is quite good because it is a niche that will always have a demand. Some niches come and go but everyone needs clothes and people are always buying new clothes, so these niches are quite popular for that reason, your customer knows that their site if they buy it will always have a demand. Sneak Peak At Site Biz Academy

Choosing A Niche For Building Your Website
With site flipping the first problem that many will face is choosing the niche to build a site around. You will want to have a variety of niche’s and not just list the same site over and over again and you want to build sites around niches that are popular and that people will want to buy.
So how do you know what people will buy?
There are a couple of ways to choose your niche and here are a couple:
1. Trial and error – ok so that isn’t actually searching for a profitable niche as such but sometimes it is what works. Often you may come across a great niche that you think will be really profitable only to find that it doesn’t sell, while other times you may choose a niche quite spontaneously and not be too confident about it, and it might sell really well. There are some niches that tend to sell better than others in general and over time you will find what sells well for you.
