It’s true that to start site flipping you do need to invest a little cash and in fact you wont find too many online business opportunities where you wont have to invest anything. The first thing I would suggest to invest in is a good site flipping manual so that you can learn everything that you need to learn before you jump into it. If you go into website flipping blind then chances are that you will make mistakes that could cost you more money in the long term, however if you get a good manual and learn everything correctly then you will save money be reducing the chance of making costly mistakes.
Can You Flip Sites If You Don’t Have Much Ebay Feedback?
Ebay has a lot of rules and regulations and they also run on a feedback system and I know a lot of people worry that if they don’t have much feedback since their Ebay account is still quite new, that they won’t get many sales. I tested this theory a little while back by starting a completely new Ebay account for my site flipping business and I am happy to say that it didn’t take me that long to build up some feedback and a good DSR rating and I have been verys successful with selling sites on my new Ebay account, so don’t let a low feedback rating stop you from starting a site flipping business.
DSR rating is something that Ebay brought in about a year ago and it is a little different from feedback rating. It is left at the same time as feedback is left, but this is the rating when your buyer gives you a rating out of 5 stars for different aspects of the transaction.
Transferring The Site After The Sale
I have had a few people ask me how do you transfer the website to the new owners hosting after it is sold. If you have a site flipping business then you need to know how to do the after sales transfer.
There are a number of ways you can do the after sales process and I suggest you find the way that is going to work out quickest an easiest for you.
The transfer process will also vary depending on whether you are hosting the sites on your own reseller hosting account or whether you are just referring your customers to a hosting company such as Hostgator.

When you are creating a website to sell you need to monetize it so that the potential buyers can see that the site can earn them an income. If it isn’t monetized and can’t earn an income then there wont be too many people interested in purchasing your website and you won’t be too successful at site flipping.

Clickbank offer a big range of information products that you can sell as an affiliate and they are a great income source to add to your website. It isn’t too hard to find products for many niches at Clickbank and they are very easy to set up and then change over to the new website owners links after the sale.

If you are considering starting a site flipping business but just aren’t quite sure where to start then this article may be useful to you. I am going to take a quick look at the first steps to take to start your own business flipping sites.
1. The first thing that you will need to do is decide what type of sites you are going to create. You can always change your mind later and move onto other types of sites, so whatever you decide here doesn’t have to be permanent. When you are first starting out, I would suggest building something easy like affiliate websites. These can be very quick and easy to create and you can have them listed for sale the same day you start.
2. Although it might be a small investment, it will probably save you a lot of time and money in the long term if you get it right the first time by learning from someone that is already doing it.
